Jacob's Ladder is an old cattle trail hewn into the face of rock at the end of the Amasa Back trail in Moab, Utah. A group of Gonzo riders on one of our trips decided to do a ride that included carrying thier bikes up this trail, providing views of the famous Colorado River, Jackon's Hole and Canyonlands Nation Park -- there is hardly a better view in the region! The best part, however, was the screaming downhill on the the Amasa Back trail. For those who have seen the IMAX Mt. Everest film, the Moab scenes were shot on this trail stretch.
