A valueable part of cycling is to be handy with your tools. Make sure you are prepared for any bike repair in Moab since the terrain, sand and rocks are punishing on bike parts. Here one of our past participants undergoes a makeshift broken frame repair using a myriad of tools: duct tape, rusty fence baling wire, a pair of pliers, a stick found on the trail and, of course, a lot of ingenuity. Unbelievably, this fix allowed Shawn to make it down the famous Portal Trail on Poison Spider Mesa, one of the most brutal stretches of singletrack in Moab!
